The ever-popular Subway Writing Session is back! Charge up those laptops, grab your notebooks and pens, and meet us this Sunday for a writing session unlike any other. Don't forget to bring something to drink and snacks to munch on, if desired.
We'll be riding along the Yonge line at least twice (once in each direction)--stay on for as long or as little as you'd like.
On Sunday November 8, meet at Finch station--the North end of the platform--at 1:00 pm. We leave on the 1:15 pm train!
Hope to see you there!

It seems like *everyone* has bells on these days. Must be a new fad.
Teasing Errol must be the most popular pastime of Toronto wrimos, after chatting of course.

I'm hoping to be there with the munchkin in tow. There are other things I need to do tomorrow, but I should be able to make it. I will peobably only be on for about an hour and a half though because that's the extent of how long my batteries last these days which is sucky. At least at the overnighter they have outlets.
Cheers!

I tried to meet up with the Nano train from my own station, but despite careful calculations and an hour of waiting, I never saw y'all! Did go off after and do some writing, but sorry to have missed it. Hope it was fun.

awww that's too bad. it might have been tricky to find us, we didn't leave till about 1:30pm, and the car got crowded quickly with many non-nanoers.

Crazy beans! I have no idea how, but I just typed in my handwritten notes from the writing session and I wrote... drumroll, please... 1234 new words!
Thank you all for a fantastic event, and thanks for waiting for me (not to mention, the totally intimidating reception!).

Hmmm, I wrote almost 400 words. But I don't really remember writing many of them.
Besides, how could we have left without you? ; )
I had a great time at the event, and hope you all did too! See you at the next one!

I only wrote about 600 words, but it was fantastic meeting more people, and getting to see again people I met yesterday. I'm really enjoying the people that I'm meeting through Nano. The writing is a big part of it, and its gives us all something to chat about, but I am enjoying just MEETING people through the activities. Its definitely sold me on nanoing further, and I will see folks at the UfT writing session tomorrow. Which fits nicely into my schedule as I have to be up at UfT for classes anyway.
