Saw this thread on one of the international forums and thought it would be nice to transpose it over here. I'm sure we all have the same problem of our MCs suddenly developing a mind of their own (with an attitude to accompany it) and deciding that they're gonna do things their way. So go ahead and indulge in a little "WTF?!" session -- we're entitled to it! |

My FMC has decided that The Villain is really her father, because she apparently wants to ride the Guilt Trip at the end of the whole war. I also have no idea who she is and what she can do, but she's vetoed the idea of magic-wielder and now wants to be a ninja. Black outfit, throwing stars, the whole shebang.
Oh, and there's this random dude called Karak who pops up and offers her all sorts of inane advice. Not sure who he is right now, but I kinda like him. Reminds me of Tim Gunn.

I went back three chapters in time to make my FMC and her sidekicks kill a horrible monster so they could cut off its head and thereby introduce the 2MV (second main villain) one chapter into the future. Then I realized they had no realistic way of killing it.
So Magdalena the knight captain did a striptease dance and it had a heart attack and fell over dead at the sight of her, uhm, bust.
No. Please, please, please, no.

My MMC decided he was an only child, my FSC is becoming some kind of pervert, and both my MMC and FMC decided that they were thirteen and, forty thousand words in, still in their second week of school, which would be okay except that it prevents my plot from actually moving FORWARD. So I'm stuck and still deciding how to move forward with this.
And my FSC just decided to wake up at four fifteen in the morning, so now I have to entertain her.
