I'm running dangerously behind on word count, but I just needed to share that my main character (Dash) just wrapped up his first "case". I am writing a series of short stories this year that all culminate in the climatic 7th story. I'm just pleased to have wrapped up the first of the seven stories.
Yay.

Whoohoo! Good for you!
----------I have great news too: I read the bit I wrote yesterday this morning, and for the first time this nano I felt that it didn't deserved the delete sentence on 1 dec.
My story is starting to become more and more as I had in mind! :)

Congratulations! That's always a good feeling. Pirate stories are always fun. I did one last year for NaNo. :)

Congratulations! Really! Don't worry about the wordcount, just try your hardest and make sure you have a lot of fun. If you do so, then at the end, even if you don't cross the 50 k line, you will still have experienced the essence of NaNo!
I wish you good luck with the story!
