As with the tip jar at write-ins, any money we make will go first toward reimbursing Lisa and me for the expenses incurred to put on the Meet n' Greet (~$140 total). Once we've recovered those costs, any additional money will be donated to NaNoWriMo in the name of the South Bay Nanos.

Awesome! I have been wondering about those. Is there a similar thing for the "careful, or you'll end up in my novel" shirts? I can't remember if I've seen more than one person wearing that one.

That other slogan isn't a South Bay shirt, though naturally it's a popular one among the NaNo crowd. You can find many versions of that t-shirt online by searching for the slogan. Our shirt is cooler, though. :)
