I came to this forum looking for the 50K shout out. Then I saw this...

AWESOME!

Million words in a month? Tell me your secret to keeping your hands in shape (mine just fainted at the idea of reaching 100k by then)

Keep it up! < cheers>

I have to admit - I now have an image of you typing simultaneously on four different computers with your hands and feet. That is the only way I can imagine anyone getting to 200K in a week.

You rock!

Congrates,Kateness, as always, you're truly awe-inspiring. How many books so far?

Quick question: How many words do you think you average in a year? I imagine you don't keep up this kind of pace year-round, but I have always wondered that.

Dragonchilde, 50k from finishing the second (I've got a 600k trilogy, working on the first book), plus the 50,000 one I did on the first.

As for year-round, including rewrites/edits/everything else, probably between half a million and a million a year, depending on what other things I've got going on in my life.

Goal: 200k 260k. My wordcount was going to be an average, but we need to beat the pants off Denver, right?

Right then, 6 days left to see if I can make my goal of 250K and beat last year's word count. OK BABY, HERE I COME!

(200,000th word was 'what', and my Word document is now broken so that I can't reach the last page with the scrollbar! XD)
