Knowing I'd likely only have a couple minutes to write today I decided that last night my word count goal was 4000 words. So I sat down at the computer and... nothing. I couldn't even think of a place to start writing. Not a scene I could use, not a character to write about, not a set piece to work into something. Just a complete and total blank.
Three hours later I finally decided that enough was enough and I went to bed.

Don't worry for me it was being lazy. I am so high in my word count that I have kind of slacked off and now I need to find the motivation to write again. I am sitting here behind my computer not writing. I should be writing!

Are you working off of an outline, or a rough idea of what you want to happen, or are you just kinda winging it? I've tried both approaches (this being my first year with an outline) and I've noticed that they have different barriers to continuing.
I wrote absolutely nothing yesterday, and I really don't feel like writing today, but that's because I think I'm getting sick. :( But I'll try to make myself write at least a couple hundred words today, even though my count is fine, because otherwise I know I'll end up putting it off until I quit.

This must be an epidemic. I didn't write a single word yesterday. A friend invited me and my husband to go out with her after work, and I did that instead. I got back too late to start anything. Then today, I've just been too busy. This is the first chance I've had to sit down in front of the computer and write again. Now, I'm having trouble getting back into it too.
Days like this tend to put us behind, but it's going to happen every once in a while. That's why it's important to stock up on words when we're able. There's the rest of tonight and one more day in the weekend to catch up (if you have a mon-fri job), so not all is lost. It's going to happen to all of us at some point.

I'm using a mix between an outline and winging it. I started with a list of 8 stories set in the same city that I wanted to explore. That was as many as I could come up with, and meant that I only needed enough inspiration for each story to write for 3 days (roughly). But beyond the stories and the main aspects of the setting they were to explore I don't really have any notion of where they are going. Thing is that part of the idea was to explore the way magic would impact society without getting into issues of war, theft, etc (which is standard RPG fare). Kind of to explore nonstandard stories as an experiment. When I went to the list of stories I had though there wasn't anything left that really fit that description so I tried to come up with one on the fly. And I had nothing. looks like I'll have some time tonight though so I'll be attempting to get caught up tonight.
