Since it seemed to work out so well last week for the meet-n-greet...
I'll be at Healing Tea (33rd & Arapahoe) by noon today, November 7, drinking matcha and working on my novel. I may also be helping out in a blockade in Puzzle Pirates; it depends on how well I can multitask. And/or resist temptation...My characters were chattering away at me last night as I tried to get to sleep (too much late night coffee) and maybe I can put some of what they told me to work.
Look for the Nano-stickers on the Dell Laptop and the Nano-postcard acting as a table tent!
For free wi-fi, ask the cashier to lend you the password-info card that's standing by the register.

Have an excellent write-in session, vortexae. I hope you can capture your characters' chatter. Something happened to me this late morning-> somehow my novel turned a corner and became bigger than it was. I have characters speaking up, too, and telling me a more intricate story, which I am enjoying very much!

I'll be at Healing Tea tomorrow as per usual, and John will be there with friends too. I didn't get *any* writing done today, sadly, so I shall try very hard to make up for it tomorrow--doing my bit to help keep us ahead of the Colorado Springs competition where we belong! :-)
John and I do have a kitty cat to pick up from the vet in Englewood, but we should be able to do that either before or after the noon-to-three window (depending on the doc's recommendation) rather than during. I'll post if for some reason we can't make it.

I'm here now with Maureen, who just moved to Boulder at the end of October. She used to ML for the Caribbean region! Come on out and help us welcome her to our NaNoNeighborhood!

Hi, vortexae and Maureen. Maureen, glad you made it to a Boulder write-in. Sorry I won't be able to make it today, but I will be at Vic's in Longmont tomorrow afternoon. I am inflating my word count from home today. Happy writing.

Good luck with your home-based write-in, Ellen!
We are now five - KMac has joined us, and Stevie, and Emily, and Emily's friend is on the way so that'll make six! The place was really busy for about an hour, but it's calmed down now.
(I hope to join you in Longmont again on Monday, btw!)

Hi, today was a good and productive day at Healing Tea. I met my write-in goal of 2000 words, and I'm going to try to crank out another 2k more before bed. Unfortunately for some of my characters who boarded a flight to Anchorage around the time that the fellow brought out those tea samples, there was a plane crash today, but that's how that goes sometimes. Alas. We'll be searching for survivors tonight. Let's keep our fingers crossed for the best outcome with the highest word count possible, ok?
Vortexae, Thanks for the welcome today. Technically, I'm still an ML for the Caribbean. Since there are so many islands, my physical absence from mine makes little difference to the folks in Trinidad or Guadeloupe or Martinique anyway. Inter-island travel is not remotely affordable, so there were never write-ins that I could attend except on my own island. :( The Caribbean ML gig is strictly motivational rather than functional.
Ellen, not sure if I'll make it to Vic's tomorrow. I might be meeting up with a friend to write at another coffeeshop in Longmont - Ziggi's on Main St? Also free wifi, but they have couches, too. :) Very comfy. Also, a barista from Alaska, so she and I get our nostalgia on.
Or maybe we'll stick in Lyons at Stone Cup. Anyone ever go there? Very cute shop. Loads of personality. Awesome wild berry iced tea, and they use compostable corn-based cups and straws.
Happy writing. :)

Congratulations, Maureen! Your characters should know better than to let their author drink and write about airplane flights.
Have fun whichever place you land. I'll be at Vic's as usual. Sticking close to home in all this snow.

Hi y'all! Writing has commenced at Healing Tea! Lisa and I are here enjoying the Green Walnut tea and just beginning to hit the keyboards. Steve just walked in. The place is darn near empty, and we've got the four-top in the corner near the windows to start with. Come on in!
