Okay - so I've run away from my wedding party duties for a few seconds to post a reminder about the write-in tomorrow at Corner Bakery. I believe our "Official" start time is 6:30, but considering I've only written roughly 2K while being here - I need to write close to 8K to catch up to my personal goal, so I will be showing up much earlier. When exactly, I'm not yet sure but I will post here when I decide to run off.

I'll probably snag a table in a corner or something, bring a power cord and splitter that will have 3 plugs. I'll also wear my NaNo shirt and have my NaNo hoodie with me. I can't recall if CB has those little stands for numbers but if it does I have a small NaNo sign that's the current badge I'll stick up so if you have not meet me you can at least point out who I am. :)

Looking forward to seeing people there!!!!

I just got home. I'm completely exhausted, hoping to crank out a thousand words and then crash. I'm thinking I'll be there mid-afternoonish - but I'll post when it's actually a made decision.

It's 5pm right now, I've reached the halfway point for my day (5K) and my neighbors have begun pounding on their walls and I'm starting to find it difficult to write. Going to feed the Chin-children (my chinchillas), pack up my stuff and head to CB. Hope to see people there!!!!!!!

I'm here in the back corner. Turns out an old college friend works here; he nicely told me this CB closes at 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays so I'll hang here for an hour and if no one else posts I'll just go on home. If someone else shows up we can move to a Starbucks or something in the ares. There is also only one outlet that currently is full. At least they have wi-fii!

Hi Cid,

I arrived around 6:50. I knew I was late, based on your post. Had you left? I asked the employees and they said no one from nanowrimo had been there.

Sorry I missed you. I really would like to participate in a write-in.

We were still there, we were the small group of three in the back left hand corner when you walked in. Enrique who works there knows me but probably didn't recall that I'd said we were doing a NaNo event there. We moved the write-in to my apartment! We're there now. I'll send you the details in case it's close enough for you to come to.

Actually, I'll just post details here and edit them out later.

My phone number in-case anyone wants to join us is 817.781.6151
the address is:

Thanks. I'm settled in at home now, fixing dinner. I'll try to attend the write-in tomorrow.

Okay - so moving the write-in to my place was actually rather sucessful, I think at least. I know the NOWD is next weekend and people might not be up to doing a write-in after that but I thought that throwing it out to move this one to my place was an option. It would be sort of limited in space to about seven to eight people at most; small like apartment and all that goodness. Anyways! Thoughts and whatnot are appreciated on this :)

Well since I just left I'll put in my two cents! I'd do it again! I thought it was fun and it was quite productive as well. I ended typing about 2000 words in between the cranberries, lotion, and spilling Dr. Pepper on myself. I'm very pleased. Not sure yet what my schedule is next weekend but if there are no family things I'm up for whatever is decided!

Mkay - I'll post something like Wednesday night or Thursday morning about it so we all sort of have a better idea of what's going on. I *did* make my 10K goal like 60 seconds after midnight tho - I was so bitter! Next week I'd like clean and have stuf prepared instead of just being all -well, here it is... Either way, it was fun and I'd host it at my place again :)
