Hey, guys and gals. I am behind on my word count and am having no luck writing at home. I get off at 5 tomorrow and will be heading to Borders Books in Plano. I'll be getting there between 5:15 and 5:30 depending on how fast I get out of work, and will be there until they close at 9. They have free wi-fi and a coffee shop to help us stay caffeinated. It's located on Preston Road and Old Shepard which is just south of Park.

I'll print out a NaNo banner and stick it to my laptop so anyone who wants to join will know it's me. I'd be glad for any and all company! If you're thinking about coming, please just drop a line so I know if I should expect anyone. See you guys there!

I know exactly where that is, but sadly I can't make it. Best of luck!

Tomorrow--is that Sunday, Nov. 8? Just checking, as sometimes the date stamps on forums are messed up, and you spoke of getting off work at 5 (which is typical for weekdays). If it is Sunday, maybe I can make it. I love seeing a write-in around the Plano area! I haven't seen Plano OR Richardson doing this very much at all. I had a book signing at that Borders years ago. It's a nice place.
I might go longhand so I don't have to tote a laptop and try to balance it on my lap. I don't have much of a lap, actually. (GRIN)
Presently stuck at a plot point, so I may have to noodle around for a bit before I get going again.

Maybe I'll catch the very end of the write-in. Unfortunately, I don't get off work until 8pm. Still, 30-45 minutes devoted purely to writing would be worth it. See you then, hopefully.

Well now that I know there's a write-in in plano today that changes all my plans.
So I will now grade and clean and feed my husband first.
So I'll be there about nine.
I may have to go longhand too, b/c technically I don't have a laptop. I'd have to steal my husband's.

Yes, Sunday! I should have clarified. We open from 11-5 on Sundays. Unfortunately, I get no weekends.

I'm here and there is 1 plug in the entire place and the cafe closed before I got here. Urgh. You guys are still way more than welcome to come! Next time I will bring a power strip so more than 2 people can plug in.

I actually live in Farmers Branch, but I work in Plano so Plano write-ins work well for me. There doesn't seem to be a ton going on in Plano OR Carrollton/Farmers Branch, sadly.

I just reread my post saying I'd be there at 9. That makes no sense. I meant 6.
Here now. But shy so I'll introduce myself later. Once I have a few words down. Way behind today.

Just curious; is anyone still here at the Borders write in? Although, I guess if you don't have a laptop, you wouldn't get this message. Oh well. I'll be here until 9 probably. Hopefully, I can get a good portion done.

I bailed because my husbands laptop has no lifespan. I'm not sure if anyone was actually there when I was there. But we should try to plan another meet at the Borders. Anyone available anytime this week in the evening (besides Tuesday) or anytime saturday or sunday

I really should have just posted here and not made a separate post. BUT I'm off early Friday and can do a Friday night write-in. I didn't so much like Borders. I got there 5 hours before closing and they'd closed the cafe, and they only had one plug, not to mention their prices are really steep. Wow, listen to me whine. Anyway! I'd love to meet somewhere else in the area. I'm not that familiar with the Plano area so I'm up for suggestions.

So this doesn't become way complicated, the post I made for non-Borders write-in is here: http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/node/3442295
