I've been about two hundred words away for at least two days. Ugh. Tow hundred freaking words, you'd think that would be easy...

Crossed the 20K mark today at lunch. Sadly I don't think I'll be able to get to Panera tonight though I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I plan to at least get to 21K if not 22K tonight. (I have a 25K word reward of watching The Ultimate Watchmen this weekend to look forward to)

One bird attack for my main characters and a trip to the drug store to get some neosporin for my poor scratched heroine and I'm there. Yay!! 20,352. Hoping for 22k tomorrow but we'll see how that goes after Yard Charge with the cub scouts and raking tons of leaves :-)

When your inner editor says that your writing stinks, tell it: "Yeah, so?"

Of course it stinks. That's why it's called a FIRST draft.

I'm almost at 22,000 myself. College plus work plus being sick for two weeks = me not starting out NaNo so well. But don't give up hope! We can do it.

20,404!

This is the best 404 I've ever hit! :D

Tonight's writing was weird. My goal was 20,000 and I worked and I worked for HOURS to scrape out 1500 words, and then, suddenly, 700 words just fell out of my brain and into my computer.

I love it when that happens.

Massive write-out yesterday got me to 22,870 (from 19.6K)...shooting for 25K tonight (I'm trying to gain ground after 4 goose-eggs in the past week.)

Waking up at 7 am this morning got me from 18,252 to 23,813.

Still waaay behind but *less* way behind, and that makes me... Not happy, but feel a little better.

As for me, I'm going to try and work some more!
