Katie, Jamie and Pat: I just wanted to express gratitude for the work you've been doing this year to make the region run so well. It is much appreciated!

I second that notion! Enjoy yourselves a nice slightly warmer than average day in lovely Jersey and a cup of your favorite hot drink. We love all three of you immensely for your tireless efforts and I wish you good luck on your noveling!

You all are very welcome. I do this because, I don't know. It really is an addiction, an addiction that I must encourage others to share. I'm a short story writer that spends the month of November writing novels that honestly seem to be getting better each time I do NaNoWriMo, but what will I ever do with them?
I really thought long and hard about writing short stories this year. but my market is either a 700 word mystery or an 800 word romance. Can you imagine writing at least 65 short stories in a month? Okay, now I really have to go check how many ideas there are in my idea file. OMG does this mean I am thinking about next year’s NaNoWriMo when this one just finished the first week? After reading this, I realize I am a crazy writer.
If I don't get to see you at the Menlo B&N Write In. I hope I get to see you at the TGIO party. Remember I have the basket. Got some donations from Sisters in Crime - Central Jersey from ladies who aren't even signed on to NaNoWriMo but respect our craziness..
Happy Writing.
