I know there is a simple fix to my problem but my mind is fried and I can't figure it out. I'm writing in Microsoft Word 2000. Somehow I've turned on something that is making dots between each word and the paragraph symbol when I enter. How do I get this off?!! It's driving me nuts! Also, does anyone have an suggestions of a better writing software I can buy for windows (after this nanowrimo is over, of course, lol) |

You want to go to the Options and it should be somewhere under something like Display to hide the formatting marks.

You have "reveal codes" turned on.
Look for a paragraph symbol on either your tool bar or in one of your menus. It will probably be highlighted. Click that and you should be good.
