This is your SHOUT-OUT for Tuesday write-in!
I hope you guys had a productive writing week. It’s been a struggle for me because of other writing and website maintenance issues. I feel like a cricket…hopping from one problem to another. Right now, I need to see the faces of my Bowie Write-in participants in order to refocus my thoughts to my 50k word goal, get my sugar fix from a good tasting Panera pastry, and a swift kick-in-the-butt from group members. I’m looking forward to seeing you guys and meeting new folks at Bowie Town Center Panera Bread on November 10th.

Hello Krobin, I am not sure if the Bowie Write-in needs to be put on the DC calendar.
The reason I sent the shout-out to Maryland and DC was to inform NaNo participants, who might live near the Bowie Town Center or in Prince George’s County that write-ins were being held in the area on Tuesdays at Panera Bread Bowie @ 8:00pm. It was my understanding from our November 4th meeting that the Bowie Town Center is a new site, and participants may be traveling to other areas or staying at home writing alone because they aren’t aware of this write-in site. Anyhow, my shout-out was only a courtesy notice.
This is my first year, so I’m new. VIX, PLEASE RESCUE ME FROM KROBIN!

We have it on the MD calendar -- because it's being held in Maryland. Of course, we list a few DC write-ins as well, particularly those in that gray area where a metro station sits almost on the line between MD and DC. It's ok to give a shout-out in other nearby regions when we have writers who might join in one place while at work and another at home. Does that make sense?

You didn't do anything that you need rescued from.
Since part of what I'm doing as the DC ML is to make sure that the Write Ins posted to the DC forum get posted to the calendar, I thought that I'd ask if this was something you wanted me to post it to the calendar. And if so, did you have a start time so that anyone interested in going to that write in would know when it started.
I am simply trying to keep the DC calendar organized.
