So, I was just thinking that November 15th is the halfway point and people would probably want a break after 14 days of frenzied writing. How interested would people be to have a midway party to kind of forget about noveling for a few hours, watch the hallowed Stranger Than Fiction, eat some snacks, talk about how the noveling has been going. It would most likely be in the afternoon. I could see if work would be willing to donate space again.

Let me know what you think. :D

Happy noveling.

Xander

I would sure like to meet some of the locals who are doing this. I'm new, so...it'd be really nice for me to get to know those of you who've done this before!

Hmm. If I can make it time/location wise, I'd be interested.

I will know more tomorrow or Tuesday! (Depending on when the dust settles at work.)

Next Sunday afternoon? Is that the movie we saw a couple of years ago (at Bookman's, I think)?

That's the one. I also did a screening @ Wilmot Library last year (before NaNo).

If the schedule holds clear, I'm totally up for this! I love Stranger Than Fiction - happy to lend my copy, if needed.

Great idea, Xander!

Work has volunteered its space for us again, so 924 N. Alvernon Way is where it's at again! I have posted it to the event's calendar. 1:00pm-4:00ish

I would love to go, but I'm behind on word count and need to catch up this weekend if I'm not going to panic. I've taken off too many evenings already.

Just making sure -- this is a sure thing, it's today, and no computers?

It is a sure thing! You may bring your computers if you wish... but it's not intended to be a write-in. :D

Sorry to miss it! I was at the SSA's book fair, selling books -- and I even sold a copy of my first NaNo novel. I did speak with someone else who planned on attending, though. Hope it went well.
