Synopsis: Falling Forward
A home to her new love, friends, and a promising career, Sam finally puts down roots in New Orleans, Louisiana. After five years she's sure its where she will spend her life, but in August of 2005 a massive hurricane destroys not only the place she loves, but the life she has built there. As Sam grapples with the destruction of the city she crumbles into her own chaos: her love-life fails, her health deteriorates and a strained relationship with her mother reaches its breaking point. Sam takes us along her personal journey through the largest natural disaster in U.S. history. Will she be able to rebuild her ravaged life without losing herself in the wreckage?
