Hello Wrimos!
I know this is looking ahead a little bit, but I'm putting up a poll to gague interest in TGIO parties! From past experience it's easier on everyone if TGIOs are planned as far in advance as possible.
SO: Here's a poll to fill in for some potential dates/times and locations:

Please fill it out if you can attend. Feel free to discuss and suggest things here too.

What normally goes on at a TGIO party? Is it basically like the Kick-Off party (well, only...sort of in reverse)?
(I'll probaby be the one nodding off by the soda machine because I left about 20,000 words until the last minute and didn't sleep for three days trying to catch up...XD )

Generally these happen after the 30th, so any words for counting in NaNo will have been turned in, though by no means is that a real excuse for stopping if you are still on a roll. *he says, having never finished a nano novel once Dec 1 rolled around...*
So far as what goes on, yeah, lots of congratulating and comforting as needed, eating, drinking (tea or juice for me :P ) and discussing of what we wrote, what was tough and what we'll do differently next go.

Thanks for the reply, Goshevan. :)
Good; I can do those things. :D (Heh, coffee or diet soda for me. I've never really cared all that much for alcohol.)

I took a verbal poll at last week's write-in and Pizzeria Uno's in Concord was the winning spot.
Please take the electronic poll so we can decide on a date and time!
