Hey JayWalker, want to swap novels for a week? Feel free to work on it while you have it I wont hold it against you if you happen to write 35K+ or something like that :)

Well done there you deserve the wine for that effort ^^ have you had any of your WriMo novels published at all?

Screw the bottle. You deserve the whole winery for doing that much. :-)

I'd die before I got anywhere near that many words.

Thanks folks, much appreciated.

No, I haven't publishd a novel yet. Three collections of short stories and other stuff. Once of these years I'll settle down to editing the NaNo sequence. Till then, I'll just keep typing rubbish...

That is truly impressive, well done you!

What is the secret? Are you working from an outline or are you 'just' typing ?

Mainly just typing, although I know where my story is going. I went off on a tangent today, exploring a sub-plot to the extreme. It seemed to flow and the words kept coming. It doesn't happen often, so I'm making the nost of it today.

Drink a bottle? I'd be injecting absinthe by now.
Actually...... that sounds like a good writing aid.

Welshcakes - I run on coffee most of the time, too. But I enjoyed sharing a bottle of vino with Hubby last night.

4K is certainly not miserable - especially if you keep doing that every day.

Well done, both of you!

(And that probably didn't even make sense... oopsie..)

Good luck!

Oh, 4 K was my absolutely *best* day ever !!!
Today I have managed 2,501 words.
My hero has now, finally, been released from hospital.
I have absolutely no idea how to end the story so I think I will just carry on writing it until something dawns on me, or next year's NaNo comes around, whichever is sooner.... :-)

Very well done to you all !!

Snakebelly, yes my fingers DID hurt after that day but - inspired by JayWalker and her insane speed - I wanted to see what would happen if I went on and on and on.

I'll try doing one 10K day on Monday the 30th, along with a friend of mine. Probably won't need to do that to get the 50K words (some 12K remaining) and won't be enough to finish the novel with them, but it would be a good challenge.

My best ever must have been 5000 words.
