Just passed 50K! So friggin excited. When I started this I never imagined I'd hit the 50K mark so early. Going to keep the momentum alive, though, since there's still plenty to this book to write. Going to stick with the NaNo rule of no editing until it's all done, too.

I got there last night, and today has been a productive day, so I'm going to be well over the mark when I update my numbers.

Well, 50k came and went and at 61000 words I actually finished the story. Start, Middle, End.

Pah! I wrote to fast...

Well... I suppose I could count the short stories and gaming book reviews I've managed to do this month as well.

As for the rest of the month... Maybe I'll just write flash fiction until the 30th of 1500-3000 words each. And count it, 'cuz that's how I roll.

Just passed 50,000 at 1;30 am on friday the 20th....earliest i've ever hit the 50K goal...of course my goal t his year is 75K, so i'm still slogging away. I find it's more of a challenge to write a story that is real to me than some of the crap I've run off in years gone by, but hey, challenging ourselves is what it is all about, right?

Congrats to everyone and can't wait to validate and go PURPLE BARS!

woo hoooooo!

It's so great to see how everyones doing!

This past week has been balls...so I'm glad I busted my ass the first two weeks to pass 50,000. Being confined to my house and having to work from home has cut into my writing time big time. Apparently going to write ins consistently was not for me this year. gggggrrrrr

Congrats to everyone who has been rocking the 50,000 already!

Just passed the 50K mark at 4:09 pm on November 21. I am so thrilled to put this year as a "win" as opposed to last year. My story is nowhere near completion, though, so I shall continue to plug away at it. But *happy dance* regardless!

I just passed 50k on the 22nd. I passed 50k on the 22nd last year, too, but right after hitting 50k last year, my story ended. This year, no such luck. I'm going to have to keep on going to wrap up all this stuff going on!!

Hit 50k on the 21. And my characters are moving themselves along toward the climax, so I might actually have the first draft finished by the end of November. *gasp* I'll have to see how much writing I manage to get done around the holiday, however. And my personal goal is 75k, so I'm not done yet.

Hooray for me!

I don't know about you 100K people. I ran out of story 700 words short and had to go back and add a short scene. I am apparently not a wordy writer.

I just submitted and got my goodies.

Two years in a row!

I'm exhausted - today was a marathon.

Now I get to unwind with a nice dram of Scotch and a few episodes of Dexter.

If I Go Purple I'll probably wuss out and quit writing for the month... but then, if I Go Purple I can get my winner stuff early and such... Which is always fun to display before the month is over.

I win! Well, I'm not turning purple until I complete my novel. But I have hit 50k, thanks to pretty much spending all day yesterday on my novel.
