Synopsis: The Exchange
A societal addiction to computers has turned schools into wired nursing homes, where children are educated in virtual worlds of their own making, preparing them to become the creative, efficient knowledge workers of the future. Meanwhile, their physical existence depends on a workforce of immigrants, cheap laborers who tend to the bodies of students while educational software tends to their minds.
