Brief Author Bio:

I'm a 36 year old single mam of 2 wonderful, amazing children who never let me forget that you CAN do anything if you have the passion and will. I learn this daily just by observing them.

I don't have many family members left really. Mostly just my kids and my sister. But I have great friends and a co-parent raising my kids. (my daughters dad) who also falls into the 'great friends' category.
I guess you could say I'm a hard person to get to know. And I am. But once I know and trust someone into my inner circle, their place in my life is firm and usually for life. I am fiercely protective of the people that I love and care about. I am generous to a fault sometimes and when I love its forever. Thats just how I am.
It's not conventional and it's not as easy as the alternative way of life, but it's the way I really am and wouldn't change it for anything.

I've lost a lot of people because of some of these ways, but i still love them too! Some people can handle it, some can't. It's not my business to place blame. I'm just trying to survive this crazy place just like everyone else. We have to help each other when we can.

This link below is my 'chosen cause'. Please help them/us in any way you can> Donations of money are good but there are other things you can do which are JUST as important. Like donations of TIME. Taking the TIME to take the hand thats reaching out for help. Be a volunteer on the hotline. Talk to people by using the internet. Or just spread the word to other people who may be interested or willing to help this cause. Every little bit helps and you may just be saving someones life. Think about it. Thanks.

Synopsis: Designing A Nervous Breakdown

This book is dedicated to my 2 children. My 'novel' idea changed 3 times over a period of weeks. But this is the final decision and this is what the final book is.

"101 Things I Never Want You to Forget." (WORKING TITLE)

It's exactly what it says it is. I have and am having a hard time narrowing it down to 101 things. But am getting there and it's slowly forming into an actual book.

There are things I/me/we.everyone wish that our parents had told us when they were still around/when we were younger/when they had the chance etc.

So, that's exactly what I decided to do. It's not just a list of 100 things, each item has a short story to go along with the what's and why's.

it's something my children can and hopefully will use in the future if I'm not around to give them the advice they need. I know a book doesn't replace the real thing. And again, hopefully it will be passed down through the generations to come.

But it's not only something my own children will be able to use in the future, but something anyone can/could. Also, more than anything, it holds a special place in my heart because it's a love letter, from me to them.

Something for them to have and keep long after I am gone and hopefully something they will cherish as much as I am/have cherished writing it for them and how it's been an honour to be their mother for over a decade now. There have been 4 great, magical things in my 36 years and they are 2 of them.

It isn't just for kids either, there's plenty of things adults can take from this. I know I am taking things away every time I work on it or write something new for it.

It's emotional for me for personal reasons, but I hope it's also something that will be enjoyed by people.

It's really the 1st thing I've ever written in book form (I've written song lyrics, poems, short stories) that have really had a part of ME in them. But as far as a book goes, this is the 1st book I've ever written that has pieces of ME and who I am scattered all through the pages.

I hope this Synopsis has made some sense. If not I apologize. If so, I'm glad.

Either way, you will be able to actually read the book when it's finished if you wish, so that should settle that anyway.
