Brief Author Bio:

I'm a 27 year old school counselor living in North Carolina. I enjoy taking long walks with my German Shepherd, Merlin, horseback riding, singing, reading, and scrapbooking. I started NaNoing three years ago, at the request of my ex-boyfriend. It's turned in to something I look forward to a great deal.

Synopsis: Ful Circle

A college senior who has always used sex as a tool to get what she wants from men. When she meets Dan, a fellow senior, she has to look at her life and redefine what it is she really wants... and face many hard memories along the way.

Excerpt: Ful Circle

Growing up, Griffin Spencer was never one of those girls that fantasized about marriage. She didn't like playing house, but preferred to play sports and build things. She didn't play with dolls, imagining her future as a mommy. Those things never tantalized her. As she got older, she wasn't drawn in by the romantic stories on TV and she would've been perfectly fine never to date. Griffin just wasn't interested. She had figured out early on that romance wouldn't get her anywhere. She also learned early that being a girl held a certain power over men. So while she never wanted to marry or have a family, she certainly grew to value what this power could do. Griffin never wanted a relationship, but the things relationships could provide were very desirable.

She walked a fine line through high school. She was one of those popular pretty girls that the homely girls hated and all the guys loved. She was friendly to every guy she knew, and she knew a lot. No guy got close to her, but she got straight As and virtually anything else she wanted. Griffin's time in high school was well spent, especially the tedious times with the boys. She got into a good college, where she moved on to a bigger pool. She was more determined than ever to succeed professionally so she could leave all the bullshit with men alone.

Sex was a weapon, and Griffin Spencer used it because she could. Being 5'9" with long blonde hair and a perfect body had its benefits. It was another thing she learned early; sex made the world go around, even if you didn't enjoy it. Many guys thought they were in it for the long haul, that their relationship with Griffin was serious and leading to something. She knew how to use her body and her personality to get what she wanted. When Griffin got it, she moved on.

This was working out fine, until her senior year... until Griffin Spencer met Dan Nash.
