Brief Author Bio:

Glitterati is the offspring of a barrel racer and a firefighter and grew up watching the scenery change out the window of a black, white, and blue dually crewcab + camper + horse trailer known as 'the bruise." She's fascinated by stunt kites, phosphoresence, and the mysterious third entity formed by the juxtaposition of two opposites. She spends perhaps too much time thinking about Thermopolis, oversized pipes rolling off of flatbed trucks on the freeway, the symbolism of spoons, and how wonderful it would be to stay home and do as she pleases but somehow keep her salary and health benefits intact. Glitterati has an MFA in creative writing (poetry) from Fresno State and works as a high school math teacher to pay the bills since she really does get a kick out of doing trig problems and wielding a big calculator. Her Nanowrimo support system includes an oscillating space heater, packets of apple cider mix, a white cat who plays mouse toy hockey on the wood floors at 5am, and a superhero of empathetic head tilts who hails from a strange land where the earth moves but the freeways do not.
