Synopsis: Much Ado: Stories About Nothing, Round 2

Madison Square Garden is not remotely accustomed to paychecks. People tell him this is a latter of his current concerns. Given his recent metaphysical binding to an incorporeal higher-power-as-it-were that schemes for the synonymous nature of all things supernatural, the accidental not-quite-prophecy that turned him from the somewhat unusual street magician into the prime suspect on the Eastern Seaboard's Else-and-Other Most Wanted, and that his new co-workers may or may not think he looks better in red, as in stained with, as in blood, these people are probably not too far from wrong. But Maddie maintains he isn't sure if he actually has a bank account, which is problematic to say the least.

Into the fray, Manhattan's sudden, plagueish outbreak of ghostly phenomena, the arrival of a famed faerie Carnivale and its members (who have more history with New York than they might initially admit), and Maddie's chronic inability to be emotionally intelligent.
