Brief Author Bio:

I haven't had much luck with NaNo yet!

My first year, I caught the flu and was out of action for the last half of November.

My second year, I picked the wrong subject and was just uninspired.

My third year, my husband's stepfather died early in November and I had to abandon the project altogether.

Now it's my fourth year and I'm beginning November recovering from surgery. Should I even bother in 2009? Well, of course I'll try.

Synopsis: Not yet known

I've been playing the classic computer game "The Fool's Errand", which is based on Tarot cards and a story woven very loosely around the images of the Rider-Waite deck.

Inspired by this, I've shuffled my own Tarot deck and intend to draw two cards a day. The story will be written day by day, the course of the plot shaped by whichever cards turn up. Expect a rambling tale, to say the least!

I'm usually a careful plotter, so this seat-of-the-pants stuff is really exciting to contemplate.
