Synopsis: Screams of Passion

Stella Delaney is a good detective; she does everything by the book - on the job, at home and in the bedroom. After reading an erotic short story she found on a park bench she decides she has had enough vanilla to last a lifetime; it was time for a little Jamocha-Almond Fudge (she wanted nuts and cherry's and whipped cream too). Feeling a little insecure and unsure of herself, Stella tentatively begins to explore the world of erotica. Slowly but surely she expands the boundaries of her comfort zone and opens her mind to the many, many pleasures of the flesh. Within months she is revelling in a lifestyle she never thought possible; but passion, ecstasy and erotic bliss soon become a web of lies, deception and murders.

Stella is assign to a new murder case and to a new partner. As the months pass and the leads dry up, more bodies begin to surface. Stella recognizes one of the victims as a woman she met at her favourite nightspot - they called her Electric Lucie; a few days later the body of Lucie's husband is also discovered. Background searches on the other victims reveal similar lifestyles, although only one other person was a member of Stella's beloved Club X. Over a period of 12 months six bodies are discovered; two couples, and two single women. The cause of death of each of the victims was different but the killer left a calling card so to speak – peculiar patterns were carved out of the skin on their backs. The patterns were slightly different; however, forensics was able to prove the tool used to carve the pattern on each victim was the same. Is this the work of a serial killer? Is it a coincidence that she knew two of the victims?

Not knowing if she can trust her new partner, Stella decides to go undercover to try and solve the murders on her own…before the killer strikes again.
