Synopsis: Catacomb
It smells of smoke and old books, though not unpleasantly. The smoke has a distinct incense quality, heavy and soothing. The old book smell is comforting yet fragile: long-loved myths on crumbling paper.
It might very well be called a library though the books never go anywhere. Perhaps "Reading Room" would be more appropriate, though it is much more than a room.
No one knows how long ago people started calling it the Catacomb, but the name has stuck. It may have started as a pun, though it is fitting. The structure itself is an underground system of tunnels and recesses, and it is inhabited by a great number of cats.
