Synopsis: Old Concept: Brother Monkey, Brother Lion, Sister Crow. New Concept: Bunnystar Galactica
Set in a tropical savannah in a culture of ancestor worshipers, the story will follow the MC through three phases of life - his coming of age ritual, SOMETHING, and an adventure to discover why the his ancestor has disappeared from the realm of the dead. (Answer: ZOMBIES!) Through the adventures, the MC will have interactions with anthropomorphic animals: Brother Monkey,the trickster who lives in the village, the enigmatic Brother Lion who is dangerous and potentially violent, and Sister Crow.
On second thought, even with the potential for endless zombie attacks semi related to the plot, I will probably take that too seriously and let my inner editor lock me into not writing - soooooo....

The crew of the Void Warren travels through space, making the worlds safe for Bunnykind.
Led by Captain Felicity, the crew is currently battling the evil space lizards.
Pilot,“Sunny” Sunflower, soon expecting to give birth to a litter of kits. But who is the father? Is it Fighter Pilot Boomer? Or Communications Control Peter? Or is it the merchant Mr. Ears from planet YonMeadow?
Doctor Nell has fallen victim to the space lizards secret weapon. But how?
The litter-mates Cosmos, husband of the Captian, and Fighter Pilot Aster.
Mechanic Corky is there to keep the ship running.
Bok Choy the Dock Master on Space Hutch 4, a space station where the Void Warren frequently makes port.

Chapter 1
The deck lurched wildly from under his feet. Corky grasped for support on the [[engine thingamagiggy]], but his paw missed and he fell with a “thunk” to the floor.
The claxons were ringing now. “It’s a little bit late,” thought Corky, as he sat up rubbing the fur between his two long ears. He turned and saw the sparks cascading in a shimmer of yellows and blues and whites. “Yipes,” he said to nobunny in particular and scrambled to his feet.

At the sound of the claxons, Cosmos stood up from his seat at the desk, logging off the computer and securing himself in his bunk according to protocol. His wife’s voice would soon be broadcast over the intercom giving real time instructions, but this felt bad.

Aster swung her fighter pod around at the call from the Void Warren. “Damn,” she had just picked up traces of the pirate skiffs, but there would be no time to sort through that data to get a solid tracking on the vessels. “Returning to home base,” she acknowledged.

“I have confirmation from Aster and HARE,” Peter reported. He glanced at Sunny, the safety belt stretched over her now round belly to secure her form in the pilot’s seat. . “No word from Boomer.” He thought he detected a flick of her ear at that comment, but her paws continued their precise movements over her keyboard.
“How long till we hit hyper-drive?” The captain’s voice was calm.
“Soon,” was Sunny’s short reply, and from the slight hesitation, Peter was sure she was worried.
The cockpit door opened and filling the small space with the echoes of the warning sirens filling the hall as Tofts entered.
Sunny followed Peter’s glance. “I am fine,” she said over the din. “And still perfectly capable of flying the ship” in a mumble that only Peter heard.
