Synopsis:

In a prison housing the most dangerous criminals who ever lived lies a former assassin, now magicless. With his magic gone, the assassin whittles his days away reading books--until a chance comes. He is offered a job at a prestigious university of magic, and accepts... even though he knows the job is not what it seems.

Arriving at the university itself are Ed and Henry, two teenagers united by prejudice. Ed's magic is so weak other people consider him magicless, and Henry bears an unfortunate name earning derision from peers. What will happen at the university? Only time will tell...
