Brief Author Bio:

Welcome to the page of Mystic Dragon! I like writing, obviously, and also drawing! I also like martial arts, soccer, anime/manga, and just goofing off and playing video games like Rock Band or RPGs.

Everyone has their own little problems...mine is having Asperger's Syndrome (autism). It can be a pain at times, but I believe it helps me with my writing and creativeness at other times. It's both a curse and a blessing.
^w^

I also have an online shop! It's called the Mystic Den, and features items for pet lovers, writers, and fans of dragons. Come take a look! Just click on the url under the label of "web site" to get to the store! Please and thank you!

Synopsis: Unlocking Murder

My name is Brian Daniels. I’m sixteen years old, and I live with my parents above a private detective agency owned by my mother in Maine...which is probably why I want to be a detective, too. I have a few hobbies, a really good friend, and I love baseball.

Really, I'm just your average high school sophomore.

Except for one thing...
...I can interact with ghosts.

Ghosts don't commit crimes or murder...they're the victims of it. Thus, it's become my job to figure out what happened, even if it was behind a locked door.
Then again, finding the truth is what a good detective does.

Still, when I said I wanted to be a detective, receiving clients that can just float themselves through my door wasn't exactly what I had in mind.

Excerpt: Unlocking Murder

Brian crossed his arms in thought. “Obviously, someone is trying to make it look like a suicide.”

“But…but I’m hung with a rope! I wasn’t strangled with a rope!”

Brian sighed. “Yes, well, you can’t exactly tell everyone that.”

“You can, though!”

Brian resisted the urge to slam his head against the wall. “Let me ask you a question, Mister Hooten.”

“Yes?”

“What did you think whenever you heard of someone that can talk to ghosts and spirits?”

“I thought they were barking mad……oh.”

“Yea. ‘Oh’. Now, imagine the opinion that a homicide investigator would have if the detective said to them ‘the victim told me’.”

Hooten let out a colorful swear.
