Synopsis: Onion Skin

Everything was supposed to go over smoothly that summer. Sixteen-year-old Juliette Stanley had lined up a job alongside her best friend, Rose Delaney, at the hottest hangout spot in their town, where she hoped to have the chance to ditch the insecure-girl persona inspired by her abrasive mother and start having fun. The first days are magical, but then Rose begins acting up at work, then not showing up altogether, until she’s finally fired and won’t return Jewel’s calls or emails.
