Synopsis: The Circle Makers (Working Title)
This year my book is about a young mother and her son, abducted by aliens, who learn that, in order to save humanity from a bitter future of endless and brutal war, they have to make the ultimate sacrifice. Pretty heavy stuff.

I guess we should have known it was really aliens the night I saw a UFO while making a circle in a crop of oats for the New Castle Farm. I remember that night so clearly, a moment frozen in time, fixed forever in my mind as the beginning of the worst week of my life.
