Synopsis: Monsters

Two monster hunters and a 3,000-year-old immortal king do some stuff.

Excerpt: Monsters

He let the slip drop down into the empty inside of the port. The hatch closed and the port slid back into the ground, taking with it Flannigan's last day of letting Anzibar get away with monster murder. For as much as he hated to admit it, he was saving monsters' lives.

During a silence, Beele announced, “I'm going out.”

“What?” said A.

“Where?” said Anzibar.

“Why?” asked Rat, probably the best question of them all.

“Who?” Hannah interjected, trying to be clever.

“How?” Anzibar continued, smiling. She'd granted the sequence necessary momentum to keep going ad infinitum, but Beele stopped it with his next statement.
