Prologue
“What's the washer say?”
“The washer?”
“Right, is there going to be bomb soon?”
“Oh, that, lemme go and check.”
He walked into the laundry room and checked the reading on the washing machine. It read R26 in bold red, flashing lights.
“Yep, We have 26 minutes until a bomb hits and it'll be up the street two blocks.”
“Damn.”
“Should be warn them?”
“You remember what happened last time we tried to warn them? We almost got caught!”
“Let me give a signal out to Tommy, he can send the message through the tunnels.”
“That's a good idea. Do that.”
“Maybe we can save a couple of people from dying.”
“Maybe, but I highly doubt that.”
