Synopsis: Sound Like Thunder

A girl investigates the worldwide trail of her recently murdered, eccentric brother, to find out the meaning of his actions and the circumstances of his death. She is accompanied by various people her brother had once met from a myriad of cultures around the Earth, who do not fully trust one another, despite their common goals and shared friendship with the deceased.

These chapters of the sister's journey are interspersed with the brother's ambitious journey in the past as narrated by himself, and the letters he sent to her over the years since she was twelve years old, telling her his own story unreliably, simplified, and with most of the important details omitted.
