Brief Author Bio: It all started when a young, impressionable eight-year-old girl sat in front of the family's new (and first!) PC. There it was, in all it's heavy, monolithic glory. A yellow cursor blinked at me, inviting my words to fill the screen. A two-page (single-spaced) story ensued, involving a fateful exchange with a telephone operator, my fabricated knowledge of the Japanese language, and a free trip to Hawaii! My parents, I'm sure, still have the story. I still have my love of writing...a love that gets indulged far too sparingly. Enter NaNoWriMo! |
