Favorite novels: it's always hard for me to answer this question. I like contemporary fiction. Some good standbys are 'The Facts Behind the Helsinki Roccamattio's" by Yann Martel, 'The Hundred Secret Senses' by Amy Tan, 'Slaughterhouse 5' by Kurt Vonnegutt, 'About a Boy' by Nick Hornby, and then the stories I read as a kid that gave me my love of reading- A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Laura Ingalls Wilder books, etc.

Favorite music: Lately I've been sticking with the Beatles for writing purposes, and Muse, Sublime, etc. while driving. Oh and I've recently developed a slightly frightening addiction to the song 'Parachutes' by ColdPlay. All 46 seconds of it.I
