Synopsis: The Wolves of Battersea Park

Mary Warwick is an ordinary twenty-something living in a London suburb. She is intelligent, independent, reasonably popular and enjoys a comfortable, happy-go-lucky life.

Except for that inconvenient thing that happens to her once a month, at the full moon, when she is not at home to anyone.

And apart from those anonymous, threatening phone calls that have started to bother her.

Perhaps it was inevitable. It's not very easy to keep your identity a secret as a werewolf in a city. Mary supposes she would have been exposed a lot sooner if it weren't for the fact that everybody knows werewolves don't exist.

Still, on the plus side, there is a support network out there, of other werewolves - the sort that everyone knows don't exist - which makes life as a mythical creature a whole lot easier.

Or it would, if they could all agree how said mythical creature ought to live.
