Excerpt: Reflected Truths, Hidden Lies
The telling of this story has been sung time and time again, since the very first I could remember again. Some sorcerers attempted to make me forget. And then the bards, storytellers, troubadours, and balladeers could make up whatever story their fancy could conjure. But no one knew the real tale as I did, and still do. For I was there at the beginning, and I saw all. And I remember much, if not all of it, for many of the spells of forgetting did not take. And some magic cannot overtake other magic. I know. I am the mirror. The fabled mirror.
