Favorite novels: I’m a big Harry Potter fan and have to admit to reading each book five times each. I also love “Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit”. Some of the other books I like to read with my children are: The Giving Tree, the Spiderwick series, The Chronicles of Narnia, the Charlie Bone series, Fablehaven, Inkspell, Hoot, Where the Monsters Are, Eragon, Eldest, InkHeart, Of Mice and Men, Maximum Ride: Angel Experiment, Flush, The Tale of Despereaux, Peter and the Starcatchers, Peter and the Shadow Thieves, and Fancy Nancy. Just to name a few.

Favorite writers: Stephen King, Anne Rice, James Peterson, Brandon Mull, Kate DiCamillo, Bruce Coville, R.L. Stein, Barbara Park, Ellen Potter and many more.

Favorite music: It depends on what I'm writing.

Non-noveling interests: Reading, gardening, interior design, scrapbooking, camping, biking, and singing.
