Synopsis: Happenstance

A Wildfire had ruled over Alensia for as long as the people could remember, until the cold truth of one man’s prejudices had the flame of their power flickering. Reminding the people of the powers that the royal family possessed as enchantresses he fed upon the most humane of fears, the fear of that which is different. Barely managing to escape with their lives Bryna Wildfire and her husband flee to the country with their daughter in tow where they hatch an ill-thought plan to restore their family to their rightful place. But failure comes at a great price. Determined to avenge her parents and husband Bryna sends a heavily glamoured Arianna away as she rejoins the Mage Council to put together a plan that cannot fail.

Thirteen years later little Arianna is all grown up and the spitting image of her grandmother Taemora, the last true ruler of Alensia. With the trademark pink hair and violet hues of her family starting to reveal itself she rejoins her mother and the members of the revolution. Now that Arianna is back where she belongs Bryna knows the last piece of the puzzle has at last fallen into place, she now has the figure needed for the people to rally around. Now if only she was anyone but her flirtatious teenage daughter.

Entirely too beautiful and charming for her own good Arianna Wildfire has grown up to be little more than a self-centered brat. Torn from her flirtations she is thrust into the grown-up world of war and sacrifice, a world she isn’t ready for. If she chooses to turn her back on her country all is lost, their only chance lies in the ability of this newly-christened adult to not only take charge of her own life but that of her people as well. A chance circumstance indeed.
