Excerpt: Lyrical

Music heals people. Sometimes they may not realize it but it does. Music is also truth. It speaks volumes. Words have power, sometimes they are written, often spoken and regularly sung. Very often we find ourselves at a loss for words. To the average person they do not flow when we need them. It’s the poets, writers and song writers who speak for us when we can not.

John Lennon said, “You may say that I’m a dreamer but I’m not the only one.” There is truth in that. Where would the world be without the dreamers. Without dreamers we never would have met Peter Pan or Tinkerbell. Oz would have never given us the yellow brick road. Lennon never would have imagined a world where everyone lives in peace.

This is for the dreamers, the writers, the listeners and the believers. This is a story of a dreamer and more importantly the woman he loves. She has to learn to believe in dreams and their importance. While not everyone can be a dreamer, we can all be believers.
