Synopsis: The Lost and Forgotten

When it comes to power and heritage, Kaeris Dakaetri loses every time. While her friends are practicing magic, she's practicing physical self defense knowing that won't save her from anything. Their power matches the ultimate evil religious leader's while she can only imagine what that would be like. They know who their parents are and proudly say what characteristics and powers they got from which parent, and she has to stand in the shadows watching while wishing she could join them.

But as she grows into a woman, Kaeris becomes the one that matters. The evil religious leader convinces himself he has converted or killed everyone who has any chance of limiting his power while knowing Kaeris, who is the last hope for such an act, is still alive. And with that knowledge begins the battle of good (those who want to keep her alive) and evil (those that want her dead).
