Brief Author Bio: Like many writers, I enjoy coffee probably more than I should. When I'm not writing on scraps of paper and into old notebooks, I'm at a museum or playing guitar. I'm also big on sound designing and technical theater, so if you know of any place in Pittsburgh looking for someone to fill a slot, please let me know! |

Synopsis: The Basement Physics Society & Other Stories: A Collection of Works Compiled & Written by Leila Green
A few interesting things have happened to Leila Green as of late. Topping the list is her graduation from college and her mom's death. Unsure of what to do next, that decision is taken out of her hands when a long time friend takes her on a cross country road trip. Leila uses this time to pick up short stories from the locals, compiling them into a book (of sorts), coupled with her own journal entires about the trip.
Part short story anthology, part novel, drawing on years of my own musings, all told from Leila's perspective (except, of course, most of the short fiction).
