Synopsis: Model of Perfection

In eighteenth century London, widow Penelope Torrance has been turned out of her home by her stepson-in-law, contrary to her late husband's wishes.
Trying to make ends meet, and almost at the end of her resources, she answers an advertisement to pose as an artist's model for a series of mythologically themed nude paintings.

Artist Marcus Silverthorne has made his living painting portraits of the well heeled and the nobility. His search for a model to portray Persephone in a new series of paintings is not going well, but when Penelope walks into his studio he knows that she's just what he needs. Now all he has to do is convince her of that, preferably while helping her out of her clothes.

They will have to contend with thieving servants, moralising landladies, murderous relatives (Penelope's anyway) and the risk of transportation and social disgrace.
