Midnight.
Normal world? Ha! This place is so not normal. It’s not paranormal, like, ghosts stalking us and lemur-fish hybrids watching us sleep. It’s just… special. It reserves a place in all of us. This place is upon Madeline Island, Wisconsin. Its just too perfect to dislike it. Camping dead center of the island, too.
I love midnight. You feel so great looking at your watch and seeing 12:00 glow back at you. It makes you feel like, as the world rests, you’re wide awake. And I guess it’s hard to state how midnight feels, while I’m wet, cold, staring out at a storm, and through it all happy.
Perfect start.
