Excerpt: Storm of Darkness - Last Mission of Robert the Grey
He stands alone, the wind howling, strong tonight. He gazes upon the scene set before him, the lights in the buildings are dim, but still on, a sign. Not electrical lights, candles, the flickering causing a slight distortion of shadows, another sigh. He can see figures stalking back and forth behind the window pane, pacing, looking at the ground. He can sense their expressions, scowling, angry, and frightened.
They’re using candles because they don’t want to be discovered using electrical records of operation. They also want to be in control incase something happens tonight, they want to be able to quickly get rid of the light and escape. He thought
