Synopsis: Tribulation of Olympia: The Sword of Demos

Taken from what I wrote on a local messageboard that I belong to:

The story is basically a reimagining of the last two thousand plus years since the death of Jesus Christ. It takes place on a planet in another universe - one which could be considered our sister planet. As such, much of the text has been narration that explains Christianity on that world. Many things are the same, but there are a lot of differences as well.

In the first chapter, Demos Christ (basically their Jesus) has returned and has basically committed a frame job to make it look like two groups of high Christian officials have sinned and betrayed the faith. Unlike on our world, the people on that world have generally played very nice in the past two thousand years. So, Demos has returned and lit the fire under their asses to bring on the apocalypse. Prophecy is prophecy after all. Sometimes the Lord must step in and push humanity forward.

But is there more than meets the eye to Demos Christ? That's what we shall discover in this first part of a planned trilogy.
