Brief Author Bio: As my blog states: I am a 30-something graphic artist, scrapper, crafter, writer, sometimes disguised as a substitute teacher, trying to figure out how to reconcile my passions with making a living. I live in the country with my partner and our four still-at-home, unschooled kids, two cats, and a Guinea pig. Activities that take up my non-writing time include spending quality time with my girlfriend and our family, Faerie Garden Fancies and other artistic endeavors, working toward my masters and higher spiritual growth, as well as substitute teaching and looking for a full time permanent positition in the area. This is my second attempt at NaNo, and while I fully intended to work on the novel I worked on last year and got little more than 4000 words on, when I sat down to write, I discovered that was not going to be the case. So while I am off to a slow start, I am ok with it. My pledge to NaNo this year is as follows: |

Synopsis: Untitled ATM
A mysterious monster haunts a seaside village...
Excerpt: Untitled ATM
A warm breeze blew through the open window and she could see the stars twinkling down on her. The scent of lilacs filled her head with dreams of the summer to come. She drifted off into a peaceful sleep, and never saw the dark shadow creep into the room. Slowly it drew nearer; the darkness slipping up her slumbering delicate form. And still she slept as it blotted the stars from view, casting the room in total darkness.
