Aimee moves to Manchester to continue her Journalism studies at university. Her new flat is situated right in the middle of a council estate and she's living off her father's inheritance... or what's left of it. She's finally out here on her own, living the independant life she has been capable of living since the age of four.
She avoids the common gang areas, never walks alone at night and keeps herself safe. And yet all the common sense in the world cannot stop her inexplicable attraction to one of the estates most notorius gang member's, Tyrone, nor his towards her.
