Synopsis: Writer's Block
Out of work journalist, mildly depressive. Belongs to a bunch of test groups (sometimes is a sperm donor). Is being used as a test subject for Feel Good a Japanese imported anti depressant, on which he doesn't realize he's become mildly dependent on and as part of payment, is given a lifetime supply. Working at a coffee shop meets a girl who works at a record store. She is about ten years younger than him, keeps coming back, flirting with him, seemingly inexplicably. They start dating, he discovers that she too is on Feel Good. The drug is about to go to market and they need spokespeople. The drug is going to be marketed unusually, via a series of viral webisodes, in order to be introduced to the younger generation who is their target market. He agrees to it, falling into the weird world of prescription drug stardom. Shortly after, girl breaks up with him for giving up on his dream of being a writer and falling prey to drug dependency after trying to quit smoking pot. Through some random turn of events, he discovers that he's been in the placebo group, as has his girlfriend. As there is no difference whatsoever between the test group and the placebo, placebos are interspersed throughout the bottles, as they are cheaper than the "active" ingredient. He finally writes an article about it. She sees his name in print, and goes back to him where they try and start their lives as normal people, without drug dependency or the comfort of the idea of it.
